in the above thread, the special pioneer slip asks if a sister is over 40. i had never seen anything like this, and wondered if anyone knew why.. nc.

Unfortunately, they overlook some forms to update.

Some paperwork in circulation still says Presiding Overseer.

Or maybe they still give certain consideration to sisters over 40 in that work.

I got that form in my possession last year, so unless it changed since then, it's still in use.

I know in bethel, everyone was required to work 2 Saturdays a month then. The exceptions were brothers over 60 and sisters over 40. Later in 2009, it was changed so that no bethelite had to work any Saturdays.

Possibly, sisters over 40 in special pioneer work got special consideration at the time, like if their stats were low or inconsistent.

Control. They want to control you. Don't give it to them. No DA letter. They mean nothing.

It's like telling your abusive Kindergarten teacher you need their approval in order to decide a college of your choice.

Don't let them even think they have anything over you. Let them "work" and hunt you down, and make it difficult. And once they think they succeeded, remind them they don't matter. Not between you and Jehovah (if you still believe), and not between you and your life.

They don't matter....
